Gardening Tips

Sad but true, it is too late for transplanting shrubs and perennials here. We have perfect weather for transplanting in April, but that comes to an abrupt stop in May. We get into the 90's pretty quick, and for the best survival rate with transplanting shrubs and perennials, do it before May.

Brother Greg's Tiki

Hawaiin Tiki masks ward off evil spirits. My brother Greg carved this one out of Oak with a chain saw and Dremel tool. He has always been talented and artistic, and I think this protective piece is a perfect garden gift from a big brother.
